Teaching women how to achieve financial goals

Teaching women the financial tools they can use to plan for the future is one of the goals of the Money Smart Women Conference in Madison on Saturday. “I think learning about money can be intimidating, and doing it in co-ed (sessions) can be even more intimidating,” said Ellen Bernards, community relations and education specialist with credit counseling firm GreenPath, in Madison, and chairwoman of the conference.
