It didn't take long for the pain from the 2 percent payroll tax increase to hit your wallet. Households bringing home $50,000 a year will take home roughly $38 less per biweekly paycheck (about $1,000 a year), and those making $100,000 will see about $2,000 less a year.

FLINT, MI – The number of consumers with credit scores below 620 shrank by 1.9 percent across the Flint-Ann Arbor-Detroit consolidated metropolitan statistical area in the third quarter of 2012 versus the same time in 2011, according to new data from consumer credit reporting agency Equifax.
