Livonia-based credit union hosts free workshop on financial freedom

Co-op Services Credit Union is partnering with Accel, a division of GreenPath, to offer a free workshop 7-8 p.m. Thursday, April 25, called “Steps to Financial Freedom.”
The workshop, which is open to the public, will be held at the Livonia Civic Library, 32775 Five Mile Road, Livonia.
Topics will include setting financial goals, communicating with family members, creating a budget and building savings.
“This workshop is designed to help people create a step-by-step plan to gain long-term control over their finances and to help avoid financial crises,” said Lisa Fawcett, Co-op Services’ vice president of marketing.
