GreenPath Financial Wellness & Associated Bank Offer Free Personal Finance Workshops in Kenosha
Financial Wellness Development Series in partnership with United Way of Kenosha County and Associated Bank
(KENOSHA, WI – Feb. 5, 2016) — GreenPath Financial Wellness, in partnership with United Way of Kenosha County and Associated Bank will provide a Financial Wellness Development Series in February, March and April, in Kenosha. The free, one-hour workshops will help individuals get a better understanding of budgeting, credit reports and dealing with their debt issues.
Budgeting for Financial Independence – Tue., Feb. 16 at 6 pm or Sat. Feb. 20 at 9 am
Learn a step-by-step process for creating a budget and sticking to it. The workshop will also explore the barriers people face when it comes to achieving their personal finance goals and ways around those barriers to success.
Understanding Credit Reports & Scores – Tue., March 1 at 6 pm or Sat. March 5 at 9 am
We’ve all seen the numbers and have heard about the importance of them, but why should we be concerned about our credit reports and scores? This workshop will explain how to pull your credit report, how your credit score affects your borrowing power, and will dispel myths about both.
Dealing with Debt – Tue. March 29 at 6 pm or Sat. April 9 at 9 am
We will explore options for handling various types of debt from credit cards to student loans. We’ll discuss how to handle debt issues on your own or when it might be best to ask from help from an outside group.
All workshops will be held at the Kenosha County Jobs Center at 8600 Sheridan Road in Kenosha.
