Employee Spotlight: Kim

Kim started her tenure with GreenPath in May of 1990 as an AMC (affectionately known at that time as a secretary). Kim was promoted to the counselor role in 1994 and is now a team leader and is an integral part of the staff development team. Kim has been a GreenPath team member for a solid 24 years, Amazing!

On a personal note, Kim has been married for nearly 30 years and has 2 children. Her family are HUGE St. Louis Cardinals fans and love taking weekend trips to St. Louis to watch their favorite baseball team take the field.

What Kim values most is her family and friends. This principle, which is highly related to our core values here at GreenPath and which a core example of why she has been so successful and such an intricate part of our growth and improvements for so long.

Words from Kim's manager: “In her 24 years of experience with the organization she has served within many roles and has continued to be an asset.  Kim has been vital in helping to increase community awareness of our services in the Quad Cities area through developing existing partnerships and creating new ones.

She has also provided coaching for existing and new counselors, and been part of our GreenPath quality calibration committee.  She continues to look for ways that we can improve our organization and better serve our clients."

Words from Kim: “While I didn’t set out to be a financial counselor 20+ years ago, I feel this is where I belong.  I believe in our mission statement and I enjoy seeing firsthand the positive impact we can have on someone’s life.  I’ve enjoyed the opportunities I have had with GreenPath to travel (New York, Washington DC, Arizona, Texas, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Michigan to name a few) and the people that I’ve met along the way.  GreenPath employs are some really great people!”
