When it comes to managing debt or figuring out monthly expenses, use this handy calculator to see how your debt figures in your financial picture.

GreenPath financial wellness is a national nonprofit that for more than sixty years has successfully provided personalized counseling to help people achieve their financial goals.

NOTE:  This is an example. It helps you see how a debt management plan might help you. IT IS NOT AN ACTUAL QUOTE.

How the Debt Management Calculator Works

The pay “on your own” example assumes you make only the minimum payment. We use an interest rate of 24 percent. The GreenPath debt management plan example shown is based on getting rid of your debt within five years. We use an average interest rate of 8 percent (in most cases, we can work with your creditors to reduce your interest rate). Actual interest rates will vary by client and creditor. If the results of the GreenPath debt management calculator example show that we might be able to save you money, chat or call us today to conduct a free debt counseling session with one of our NFCC-Certified counselors. The session is 100% confidential, no pressure and judgment-free.

It was a good program and it helped me clear up the debt that I had. The enrollment process was seamless and very easy. The quality of service was great. They did something that I could manage and they took the time to assess my needs.

I haven’t had a bad experience working with GreenPath. If I needed something, I called them. I never waited on the phone that long and they took care what I needed. They were a better route than the National Debt people.

John of Glen Burnie, MD

GreenPath laid it out for me to where I can manage. We just figured out which bills I needed paid off and they came up with a bi-weekly payment, which worked perfect for me. I’m extremely happy. The reps were great too.
