Bruce Paradis Homeownership Preservation Foundation Founder’s Fund

Bruce Paradis Foundation As a founding member of the Homeowership Preservation Foundation’s (HPF) board, Bruce Paradis helped ignite the ability for homeowners to take their first steps to regain control of their financial situations during the housing crisis.

As CEO of GMAC-RFC, Bruce helped provide the catalyst allowing HPF to open its doors in 2004 with a $20 million seed grant. Today, HPF continues helping homeowners navigate financial challenges, avoid mortgage foreclosure and prepare for sustainable homeownership. This endowment fund honors Bruce’s legacy and leadership in helping people obtain and sustain their American Dream of homeownership.

In 2018, GreenPath served over 200,000 households and helped pay off more than $216 million in consumer debt. HPF is an affiliate of GreenPath, increasing access to support and guidance for people seeking to buy and keep their homes.

"I wanted to help homeowners regain control of their financial situations during the housing crisis. I'm heartened to see this effort we started in 2004 continue."
